Fresh motor parts, another hood rendition, and a new quicky paint job. Rolling pretty good but still fighting cooling issues.
This was the longest single day trip I ever took in this car. There were a dozen or so fellow hot rodders cruising through the South Georgia countryside. Ended up about 180 miles. It was not quite successful for me. The governor cap came of the transmission and dumped all the fluid out 10 miles from home.
What a trip! We put the Kellison an a trailer behind the RV and headed out at 5AM from South Georgia. Arrived at Cheoah Point, about 10 miles from Deals Gap, NC, around 1pm. Driving the Dragon in an old car that you built was quite an experience. Drove about 45 miles on a beautiful April Fools day.
